"Now, almost all children have overexcitability syndrome, which is called hyperactivity syndrome, but I look at it precisely as overexcitability syndrome.
Why do children today have hyperactivity? Usually, any organism uses its energy in a rational way. Many years ago, I read in a magazine that micro-organisms in the ocean dump a large part of the substances necessary for life into the water, and the smaller part is left for them. This means that the most important part of the substances secreted into the water is used to create bonds, to unite the individual microorganisms into a whole, and this allows them to survive.
The same thing happens in human society. Every human subconsciously understands that they will not survive alone. In primitive society, expulsion from the tribe was a harsh punishment, because the exiled man perished.
Precisely for this reason, the subconscious scheme of allocating each man's energy must be the same as that of the microorganisms in the ocean: a person must keep the least energy for himself and give the most to God. This energy is used on securing the future, securing connections between people, securing collective thinking and ensuring that humanity functions as a single organism. But when a man begins to consume all his energy on himself, he becomes hyperactive.
Hyperactivity Syndrome, in today's children, is the result of inner atheism. Not external, but internal, which is much more dangerous. This is a consequence of those principles to which consumer society urges man: to consume more energy, not for the collective but for oneself.
It follows that a loss of contact with the subtle planes, with the future, due to selfishness and consumerism, leads to a loss of subtle energy and to diabetes. But if there is no faith in God, increased contact with the subtle planes is also a path to diabetes. Just as hunger leads to death, so too can overeating lead to death...."
