Therefore, no matter how much one tries to humiliate a sage, he is outside this humiliation.
Pride is the weakening of the soul in favour of our conscious, our "Ego". Denial of God's will, regret of the past, fear of the future, dissatisfaction with the present, with the people and the world around us, inability to see the Creator in every human being - these are the beginnings of pride, which then leads in turn to the birth of negative traits, their intensification and the beginning of problems, illnesses and troubles.
Pride is not only the feeling that you are better than others, pride often makes people feel inadequate and inferior. He feels that the whole world seems to be against him, he experiences more negative emotions than positive ones, he wants to take control of his life but feels alienated from his own soul and finds it difficult to recognise the relationship between cause and effect.
Pride is a lack of understanding that the Divine Will always works for the good of our Supreme Self, in favour of saving our connection to our Supreme Self, even if our clay Self is offended.
